Just wanted to send everyone holiday greetings for whatever holiday
you celebrate. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and a
fantastic New Year.

I apologize that some of the news below is a bit late. I haven’t
been online much lately. Real Life has been a real b*tch, and I have
had some PC problems as well. Special thanks to all the fans who
have been getting the news out via MySpace blogs and the various
groups and message boards. IMAN is a much bigger community than
people think it is.

MIKE MCCAFFERTY NEWS

As many of you know by now, Mike and Sarah welcomed their second son
into the world on November 5th. His name is Kadyn Altman McCafferty,
and he was 6 pounds, 15 ounces. Mother, baby, and big brother
Kiernan are all doing well. Daddy’s condition changes day by day.

I-MAN on DVD!
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

I received the fantastic news this week that we will be getting the
first season of IMAN on DVD on March 25, 2008. Many fans wrote to me
to make sure I knew about it, and others posted in blogs and on
message boards and in egroups. Thanks for helping get the word out.
My PC has been on the fritz for most of this week, but I wanted to
assure everyone that I am on the mailing list at tvshowsondvd.com,
and am getting all the updates.

This is a 5 DVD set, and the suggested retail price is $59.98. It
has a 2-part audio commentary on The Pilot with Matt Greenberg, Breck
Eisner, and Vincent Ventresca. There is also an interview with Matt
Greenberg, and they are giving us an extra episode (Season 2 –
Legends).

The DVDs specs are: Video is 1:78:1 Widescreen, Audio is English
Dolby Digital 2.0, and it has English subtitles as well. Amazon.com
has the DVD listed now if you want to add it to your wish list.

I urge all I-Maniacs who can view the Region 1 format to buy a copy
of this season when it becomes available. If we show Universal
Studios that there is a market for this DVD, they will release the
second season.

I want to congratulate all the fans who have written letters to TPTB,
and who fought to get our message board back at Scifi.com, as well as
those who have kept up their websites, egroups, and invaded MySpace
to get their message across. All of these things have let TPTB know
that this fandom is not dead, and that there is a market for their
product if they choose to make that product available. You guys are
the best!
