FAN CLUB AUCTION
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

The fan club auction is still going on. The current lot will end around 8PM EST on December 16th.

We have a black wool coat, size XL, that was given to one of the crew members of The Invisible Man show. All the crew got one. It has The Invisible Man name and logo on the upper left hand chest area, but it is black on black, so unless you are really looking for it, it is invisible. *grin*

I have heard from a couple of fans who may have other items for us to auction off. If anyone has anything they would like to donate to the fan club to help us raise money, just drop me a line at Invisible_Mom@yahoo.com. I have to finish tallying up our records with the Treasurer, but off the top of my head I think we fell short about $200, so if anyone wants to donate items or money to the fan club to help us get back in the black, please let me know. We really need your support.

The Ebay link is

This is not a fan club member only event, so please post this on any bboards or egroups you are a member of. Please help us get the word out.

Thanks!

Joyce

LET'S MAKE SOME NOISE
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

Two fans, Stacey and Tim, have written in with some positive feedback about their efforts to get I-Man back on the air again.

Stacey writes, "I am only a fan, who has been writing the SCIFI feedback@scifi.com and programming@scifi.com on a regular bases.

With no response. But ****The SCIFI-UK **** was airing reruns of the series this year, up until August the 3rd, when they pulled it from the fall schedule. I wrote the station concerning the series, and how much I loved the series, asking them to forward my request to the US-SCIFI. (Using the contact us link at the bottom of the web site)... They actually responded, sending me a confirmation that they did forward my request; here is the email I received."

Hi Stacey!

Thank you for your heartfelt message.

We continue to receive regular requests for The Invisible Man's return. We will certainly pass on your request to SCI FI US.

Kind Regards
Duty Officer
SCI FI UK

__________

Not one to give up easily, Stacey continues, "I have tried to contact the SCIFI-UK more than once, concerning the series. But they remembered me, but they did reply back, stating:"

Hi again,

Thank you again for your message.

Your request has already been passed on, as you requested in your original emails dated 13.09.05 and 10.10.05.

I'm afraid we can do no more than pass on your requests, this we have already done.

SCI FI US is the company able to make the decision to bring back the Invisible Man.

Tim, another fan who has written continually, has also had a response from SciFi UK. He writes, "I recently have had a break through, SCIFI-UK addressed my concerns for the series, I have forwarded my received e-mail. Good news that they did read my e-mail, and they replied."

Hi there!

Thank you for your recent enquiry and please accept our apologies for this late reply. Unfortunately The Invisible Man was not receiving the ratings to make the transfer to our autumn schedule. We therefore had to remove it from our broadcast schedule. However, please be assured that I have passed your comments on for discussion as our and US SCI FI's schedules are constantly being reviewed. In the meantime I hope that you continue to enjoy our other programs on SCI FI.

Kind Regards

Kudos go to these two enterprising fans who have found an alternate way of getting through to the US Sci Fi Channel!

Would you like to help get I-Man back by contacting the Sci Fi Channel and letting them know that you want Invisible Man back on the air? Remember that as development continues on an I-Man movie, it will be up to the US Sci Fi Channel to make the final decision as to whether that will happen or not (see reply above highlighted in red).

Now is the time to show them I-Man still has an audience. So how about giving them some encouragement? Ask them to bring back I-Man in some form, whether it be a movie, season three, reruns, anything.

Just ask! Let them know that you still love the show and want it back!

To contact the US Sci Fi Channel via the UK Sci Fi Channel: Fill out the Feedback Form on their website.

To contact the US Sci Fi Channel directly:

You can email them at programming@scifi.com and feedback@scifi.com.

Better still, mail or fax them a letter:

FANDOM SURVEY

I think most of you know that I am a BIG fan of the TV series Roswell. And, as many of you may remember, the fans of Roswell played a big part in the show returning for its 2nd and 3rd seasons.

Well, it seems one of the Roswell fans is conducting a survey, asking for fans of not just Roswell but other shows to participate, as she is writing a book.

Please read the following and consider taking part in this survey, and you just might get mentioned in her book. You can read more about it and get access to the survey here at the following URL:

http://www.roswellmovie.net/survey.html

I’m taking part in the survey and hope to see some other IMAN fans do the same. Thanks!
