MESSAGE FROM PAUL

Dear friends

I have been fortunate enough over the years to work in New Orleans and several other parts of the South that have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina and now are under threat again from Hurricane Rita. The culture, the people, the history all found a place in my heart. To see what has happened has both saddened me and then sparked a hope in me. I see how the PEOPLE are really striving to bring their communities back to life and how the citizens of our country and other countries have been touched by this tragedy and are pulling together to help rebuild.

As I have been watching the news today and seeing the new hurricane threatening even more people, I felt compelled to reach out to the Hobbes Honeys and all the I-Maniacs in the affected regions and just say you are the heroes. I can’t imagine what changes and challenges you are facing but you have all been so supportive of me over the years, so I want to say, this time it’s my turn to be the fan. I have been so impressed over the years with the great sense of community in the Southern towns that I have visited. The strength and unity and faith of the people in these regions is truly the foundation that will anchor and re-establish these towns.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. All the best, Paul

a little news........ so my play THE GOOD STENO , that some of you saw in nyc a while back , was chosen to be part of the OCTOBERFEST play reading festival at EST, (Ensemble Studio Theater) in NYC on october 22 and 23....... it's open to the public and it's like a
$12 donation type deal.

so come on down and check it out! got 2 shows and it should be a blast like last time. hope ya'll can make it.

"Ghost Whisperer" playing "Older Man" in episode: "Pilot"
(episode #1.1) September 23, 2005

Also, Eddie is now appearing in the west coast premiere of Beggars in the House of Plenty at the Victory Theatre Center in Los Angeles.
Here's a great opportunity to watch our beloved "Official" perform live on stage! Eddie's wife, Anita Khanzadian, is directing this play.

"Fast-paced, furious, and unrelenting, this highly stylized play explores the myths and reality of an Irish-American family at war with itself. The New York Times writes, 'A theatrical event not likely to recur anytime soon...In a breathless 90 minutes, 40 topsy-turvy years of family flood across the stage.'"

The play runs now through October 9, 2005. Showtimes are:

Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. Sundays at 7:00 p.m.

SHANNON NEWS

Congratulations go to Shannon Kenny and her husband Nestor Carbonell who have recently become proud parents of a baby boy! Australian-born Shannon met her Cuban-American husband in 1995 on the set of the short-lived television series Muscle. The couple married in January 2001. Marco is the couple's second son. Their firstborn son, Nestor Rafael, is three years old.

"Currently a stay-at-home mother to their two boys...Kenny has had a recurring role as a neighborhood mom on 7th Heaven." Of course, I-Man fans know her best for her beloved role as The Keeper on The Invisible Man.

MIKE NEWS
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

From Mike comes the news that he has a guest role in an episode of The West Wing. Mike says, "The role is like Eberts working for the DNC and wearing glasses. I worked with Bradley Whitford and Janeane Garofalo. It was a lot of fun and hopefully it might come back."
Mike's role is Consultant #2. The episode is entitled "The Mommy Problem" and is scheduled to air Sunday, October 2, 2005, at 8:00 p.m. PT on NBC.

Mike also recently made a Ditech commercial as well as a Clorox commercial. Keep your eyes peeled for them!

In addition, Mike's movie (formerly called 3001 and then the Untitled Mike Judge Comedy) has been renamed Idiocracy. The film is currently in post production and its release has been pushed back to October 2005.

FAN CLUB AUCTION

The fan club auction will finally be getting underway this weekend.
Please go to http://www.imaniacs.org/Auction/ to see most of what we have. I still owe MrsSpooky some pics and descriptions. Some fans sent me some stuff to auction off, and Paul and Eddie signed several items at I-Manicon for us to auction off.

We should have 5-6 lots and will list them for one week starting this Saturday running through October, so you should be able to get your items in plenty of time for the holidays.

This is not a fan club member only event, so please post this on any bboards or egroups you are a member of. Please help us get the word out.
