FUTURE CAST PROJECTS
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

I did report on these in my last newsletter, but got a little more info on Paul's "Monk" appearance from Lee Ann. Also, wanted to highlight this info as it may have gotten lost in my very long con report.

Paul Ben Victor will play Al Nicoletto on a 4th season episode of Monk (which airs on the USA Network), entitled "Mr. Monk Gets Drunk".
The episode will air August 5th. Paul has stated he had fun doing the character. The new season of Monk starts July 8th.

Paul says to tell the fans that "Hot Scramble" is now "Should Have Been Romeo", and they may start filming in January.

He and Vince are going to try to find time in their schedules in September to have a fan club chat with us.

Paul will also be in "The Good Steno" in New York City during OctoberFest at the Ensemble Studio Theater. I will post more details as I get them.

Eddie will be in a play called "Beggars in the House of Plenty". It will be at the Victory Theater in Los Angeles and opens either September 10th or 17th, he wasn't sure.

Vince is currently in Romania finishing up a movie for Scifi. I will post more info as I get it. He had originally started filming it in Louisiana (unfortunately at the same time as I-Manicon 2005), but half-way through there were labor disputes, so they briefly stopped filming. They have now resumed so it may be awhile before I get any details.

Mike just made a Ditech commercial, but we don't know where it is showing. Post on the bboards if you see it.

SAD NEWS FOR VINCE
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

Visball was recently in contact with Vince, and found out that even though his movie had to halt filming halfway through, he was not able to come to I-Manicon 2005 instead because he was in the hospital giving support to his older brother, whose wife was gravely ill.
Unfortunately, she passed away.

If you would like to send condolences to Vince, his address is:

Mike McCafferty and Jason Makiaris (The doctor in "Flash to Bang"), have been busy. See Jason's letter below.

Hi everybody,

Jason here. I don't how many of you are aware of Channel 101 ( www.channel101.com ) , which is a website devoted to home-brewed 5-minute sitcoms, but Mike and I have been frequent contributors for the past several months and we've batted about .500 so far with about one out of every two pilots that we produced getting into the screenings in Hollywood. We've been unable to crack the top five and have a continuing series there yet, but Entertainment Weekly came to do a story on Channel 101, and "The Jogger" (which was written by Mike and directed by me) inadvertently became one of two shows that they singled out from Ch. 101 (the other one even starred Jack Black) as being outstanding. So if you happen to see this week's EW (with Harry Potter on the cover) on the newsstand, turn to page 43 for a great shot of Mike in action as The Jogger.

Here's what EW said:

"The Jogger: A single-shot wonder that inexplicably didn't make it past pilot, The Jogger tells of a hero who solves crimes, saves lives, and finds love...without interrupting his jog. Jogger and camera keep moving throughout the episode- no cuts. Neither 101 nor
102 viewers voted to give it a shot. Recount!"

If you'd like to check out "The Jogger", click the link below. Please be warned that it does contain a couple of small moments of mature language, so make sure the impressionable younglings aren't watching.

Check out some of the other shows at Channel 101 while you are at it.
There's some really funny stuff. Next month we're going to unveil our latest endeavor for Channel 101 which should be a blast. I don't want to give it away, but expect a lot of singing on our part. :) I hope you are all well, and be assured that we're thinking about you...
albeit briefly.

Warmest Regards,

Jason
