MAILING LIST MESSAGE
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

If you know anyone in the fan club who hasn't been getting their newsletters, or you have read newsletters at the fan club website (under the News and Updates Link) and wondered why you haven't been receiving them, please contact me at Invisible_Mom@yahoo.com and let me know. Let me know what email addy you want to receive your newsletter at. You may have updated your email addy and not told me, or you may be having a problem with your Spam filter.

For spam filters, there should be a way to specify that any email containing "[I-Maniacs Fan Club]" or "DISAPPEARING INK" in the subject line should be on your "allowed" list, or to remove the newsletter's "from" address from you list of blocked addreses.

Another thing you can do is set up an incoming mail filter specifically for the newsletter. (Email programs usually run through the list of user-specific filters and shuffle those emails off to the correct folders before they go through the incoming messages again
and check for spam.) Just set up the filter so that when the newsletter comes in, Yahoo or whatever recognizes one of those phrases from the subject line and sends the email to you inbox or to a specified folder.

Thanks everyone!

I-MAN REUNION MOVIE NEWS
<*><*><*><*><*><*><*>

During I-Manicon 2005, which I will be reporting on below, our own Mike McCafferty phoned in to talk to the con attendees. He had a wonderful surprise for us.

He told us about talks that are going on for an IMAN reunion movie!

The talks are very preliminary, and he had to be somewhat vague about it, but he did say that talks are going on, and that he felt a lot more positive about them than some of the talks in the past. He really feels that something will happen this time.

The cast are all onboard to come back if the talks are successful, and Greg Yitanes and Breck Eisner have both expressed interest in directing.

We know that Craig Silverstein still has an interest in the show, but it would depend on his schedule whether he would be able to write the script. He is incredibly busy now and his career is really taking off.

We don't need fans to write letters or send postcards right now, but we would like to get the word out to the fans that something is in the works. Please don't embellish it and say that it is a sure thing or will be happening soon. The talks are very preliminary at this
stage.

When the time comes for the fans to help publicize this movie, I will let you know here and on the bboards and in the egroups. I hope that everyone will jump onboard the bandwagon at that time. Everyone will be needed.

What you can do now is start posting on the Scifi.com Invisible Man bboard again. While the talks are going on, TPTB may be watching the board to see if there is any fan activity in our fandom. Let's stop being invisible and let them know that we are still here and we want a movie and DVDs. The posting is very important!

I-MANICON 2005 CON REPORT
<*><*><*><*><*><*><*>

Since this newsletter is already getting quite lengthy, I am going to put my con report in a separate issue of the newsletter.

I encourage all members of the planning committee and the con attendees themselves to send me reports for the newsletter. We will also put them on the fan club website and on VisBall's site.

And, of course, I urge all of you to post at the Scifi.com Invisible Man bboard. Now is not the time to be invisible!

Thanks everyone!
