 VINCENT VENTRESCA MOVIE AND CHAT

First, I want to remind everyone that Vince has a new movie 
premiering on the Sci-fi channel this Saturday, January 22nd, 
at 9 PM EST called ”Larva”.  I talked to Vince yesterday, and he 
said that he had a lot of fun making this movie, and that he thinks 
the IMAN fans will like it a lot.  
 
Vince is always willing to meet with his fans, so I asked him if he 
would be willing to do another fan club chat the weekend after the
movie airs.  Fans could talk to him about the movie, IMAN, or The 
Savages.  He agreed and decided to call Paul Ben Victor to see if
he wanted to do it with him.  Paul is also always willing to meet with
his fans, so he agreed, however, since Paul will be out of town on
January 29th, the chat will be held on February 5th at 9PM EST, 6PM EST.
 
This chat is for fan club members only.  No mention of this chat is to be 
posted in any egroup or on any bulletin board.  As soon as I work out the 
details for the chat room with MrsSpooky, I will send out another 
announcement.  I urge all members to try out the chat room sometime 
before the chat, so that if you are having a problem joining the room, 
we can deal with it ahead of time.

 NEW FAN CLUB DIRECTOR

I regret to inform you that ShelBel, our Merchandise Director, has decided 
to take a break from the fandom.  I would like to thank her  for her many 
years of service to the fan club, and I wish her all the best in whatever she 
decides to do next.
 
The wonderfully talented Mardel has agreed to take her place on the fan club 
Board of Directors.  Mardel is very creative and has merchandising experience 
through her work with Operation: Visible Ink (O:VI).  Please join me in 
welcoming her to the Board.

 AUCTION NEWS
 <*><*><*><*><*><*>
 
I would like to apologize to everyone for the delay with the auction.  We 
had a difference of opinion on the Board about how we wanted to
run the auction, and while researching our options, we ran into the 
holiday rush and it had to be put on hold.  I had hoped to hold it
before the holidays so that fans could purchase items as gifts, but it 
just didn’t work out.  
 
I hope to launch the auction next week, and I will make sure that none 
of the auctions end on the night of the chat.  I appreciate your patience, 
and I will send out a special announcement with the URL as soon as we 
are ready.

I will be sending you information shortly on the chat with Vince and Paul, 
the fan club auction and I-Manicon 2005.  I will also be sending out info 
on petitions for DVDs and the movie.  And I will also be asking Mardel to 
keep us updated on new merchandise offerings.  Time to get this fandom 
back into gear.
