EDDIE JONES UPDATES
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

I sent Eddie Jones an update on some of the things the fans have been up to lately, like the fan table at Comicon. I asked him for an update on what he has been doing lately, and if he had a message for the fans. Here is his reply:

Dear Joyce,
You guys are amazing. Still carrying on with the possibility of getting the show back in action. Amazing! I do have a film coming out soon called "Fighting Tommy Riley". We entered it into the LA Film Festival. We had two showings and the audience loved it. Looking for a distributor now. I f you want more info, go to Fighting Tommy Riley at Google. It will tell you stuff and stuff and more stuff. The film is terrific and we just want the chance for the film to find it's audience.

You take care. So good to hear from you. Oh, almost forgot Paul and Vinney showed up. They loved it. Again, thanks for the note.

Eddie

PAUL BEN VICTOR UPDATES
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

First up, a personal message from PBV to MrsSpooky. Not sure when I got this. Don't know if she sent it to me right away, or I just lost it in my mailbox whenever I received it. But any note from Paul is worth waiting for.

HEY DEB

Been a whirlwind. Hope all is well with you and the rest of the I-man crew. Please send my best wishes to all!!! Wishing everyone out there a wonderful happy and healthy holiday season and let everyone know I think about the I-man days as well. But not about the show as much as the fun we all had talking about it. You guys out there all over the world supporting us the whole way through . Just knowing you were out there; that was the best part for me.

Looking forward to a great 2004. Right now I'm just chillin doing some snow boarding and fixin up the crib. Working on a few projects. can't talk about yet. You'll be the first to know. Till then....

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

All the best
PBV

And this is for our members who don't frequent the Message Board on PerseusProject.com. Joan heard from Paul and asked to be updated on what he is working on now. Here is her post:

Hello Everyone!
I asked Paul to update us on his work and as usual, this guy is busy with a capital "B"! Paul confirmed that he just completed VENUS AND VEGAS, a feature comedy in which he plays Carlo, and whom he describes as "a very goofy mobster dude."

He said he was a guest star in STRONG MEDICINE but he commented that he thinks the episode has aired already. [ If so, look for reruns ]. BTW, Shannon's husband, Nestor Carbonell had a reoccurring guest spot as Jonas Ray in SM, and Ray Abruzzo, who was Paul's co-lead in the reading they did last May in NYC, appeared in the 9/26 SM episode entitled "Like Cures Like".

And yes, Paul will be shooting a new pilot for TNT called THE LINE in Miami, Florida this month. He plays Detective Ruben Fonseca So Floridian fans... Paul is finally working in your state!

And this last item is from AXZ:

Paul Ben Victor's Official Website has been updated. The URL is:
http://www.paulbenvictor.com

It's still under construction, but a vast improvement over the same old same old that's been there forever. The initial page is a long flash intro, so if you are on dial-up I'd skip it.

MIKE MCCAFFERTY UPDATES
<*><*><*><*><*><*>

Some of this news is old, but the newbies and any members who aren't members of Perseus Project will find this interesting. First, a personal message from Mike McCafferty, and then some additional info on his movie project courtesy of AXZ. I was going to give you the
link to his pic at Perseus Project, but it isn't working right now.
Sorry.

Hey gang,

I know it's been a long time since I've posted and I'm sorry about that. But as the saying goes, "if you can't anything nice..." It has been a sucky couple of years since Iman for me and therefore not worth bothering others with my misfortune. But I can definitely say that May has been one for the record books. And for that, I am inclined to share.

The obvious is that I got on the big screen again! After a lengthy audition process (2 1/2 months) I booked a midsized part in the new Mike Judge film '3001'. It s a hilarious new sci-fi comedy directed by one of the funnier men I've ever met. It s also great because This
character is so close to Eberts, that honestly, I've been playing him as Eberts. So Let's just pretend that this is a crossover movie of Iman with a "Special Guest Star:Eberts" thrown in. I don't want to give away too much but suffice it to say that Eberts gets down and dirty.

The other news is more personal and in many way much more satisfying. Just this past week my beautiful wife gave birth to our amazing son: Kiernan Altman McCafferty. As some of you know, the road to fatherhood has been a bumpy one to say the very least, so reaching this destination as been nothing short of a miracle. Both he and Mom are doing quite fine, and dad is coping adequately.

As for I-man, well, who knows. If Farscape can come back, why not Iman?! Vinny always thought it would take about 5 years for a reunion and he may be right. I hope it's sooner so I'll always be looking for that angle. Hopefully, this movie will make me a huge star and when
it does they'll ask me what I want to do next. I think we all know that answer.

So thank you for all your support through all the years and I look forward to hanging with you soon.
Thanks,

Mike

P.S. - Have an I-Manicon in LA and I guarantee you the cast will show!

3001: Mike McCafferty (The Invisible Man's "Eberts") has been added to the cast of the 20th Century Fox film, '3001'. The film, directed by Mike Judge ("King of the Hill") and starring Luke Wilson and Maya Rudolph follows an average Joe and a prostitute as they are awakened 1000 years in the future. McCafferty plays the overly officious Officer Collins in charge of the project. Filming begins this month in Austin, Texas.
