I wake with what is left of my lethargy

My mind now pitted for sanity



The tumultuous feelings I fear

That I gain when I lose

I hope not to hurt



I hope to ascertain a way…

I stand poised

Surreptitiously hunting to ascertain…

Only to be left uncertain

I live with great antipathy

For that thing…

But they, they hope for me to stay

the innocuous thing that I've become

they hope me to stay

they want me only for that thing



I fear the irrevocable …

but I hope to ascertain a way to

be free from this thing.
