ImaniCon2003 will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, October 10-12, 2003.   The closest airport is Chicago O’Hare, and it is recommended that attendees fly into O’Hare.  The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport.  As an alternative, Chicago Midway Airport is also nearby (about a $30-40 taxi ride).    For information on finding cheap airfare, see the following post on the Imaniacs bbboard:

HOTEL REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

These quoted rates will be available 2 days prior and 2 days after the con as well.  A maximum of 4 people per room is allowed.  All guest rooms are two-room suites with microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator.  A cook-to-order breakfast is complementary with the room.  To register for the hotel, please call 1-888-476-7366, and use the code ImaniCon to receive the group room rate.  Reservation cut-off date is September 10, 2003.  To reserve your room, a first night’s deposit or credit card will be required.  Check-in time is 3:00 p.m., check-out time is noon.  There is a free shuttle to and from Chicago O’Hare Airport to the hotel.  Parking at the hotel is $13.00 per day, with in/out privileges available for hotel overnight guests.  If you have any questions regarding hotel policies or amenities, you may visit their website, or email KatrynSedai.

Saturday, October 11 (daytime activities):   Viewing of Jason Makiaris’ DVD of ImaniCon2002 highlights, Agency Family Feud, viewing of select episodes and extras from UK DVD, viewing of music videos, Blind Round Robin reading

 Saturday (evening activities): A Night at Arnaud’s Casino

 Sunday (daytime activities):   Iman Pictionary, viewing of select episodes, viewing of either “The Pilot” or “Catevari” in French, viewing of more music videos, viewing original short film by Mike McCafferty, scene acting.
